Some of us are fine tuned to sniff out that homely smell of a cake baking and the little girl in this story is no exception. It goes without saying that reading this book definitely gives us a craving for cake and we recently joined in with Templar Publishing’s bake off challenge. We went for this delicious zebra cake from Nadiya Hussain’s Bake Me a Story as the icing looked as gooey and chocolately as the one in the book.
